Prashanth is a spiritual guide, dedicated to helping sincere seekers discover the inner path to peace and freedom. His journey comprises of basic education in medicine, a liking for academia, and suddenly awakened to consciousness.
Upon completion of master’s programin the field of oral medicine and radiology he joined as a teaching faculty reaching positions upto the rank of Professor. At this stage, hisprimary interestswere more aligned with understanding of diseases like cancer and has written many papers on fundamental aspects of improving healthcare. He was more focused on academia and never started his own clinical practice, as he considered that starting a practice could potentially shift focus to money and growth and tie him up more to the materialistic realm. Remaining as a professor pleased him the mostand there was more room for exploration.
He joined eminent research institutes like IIT as a researcherwith focus on imaging and oral cancers. He went on to pursue advanced research in Biomedical Engineering, working at the intersection of medicine, science and technology.Overall, his work has resulted inmanyresearch papers, book chapters, and presentations at scientific conferences with a total of 750 citations. He was also awarded a prestigious Research Associate Fellowship by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).For many years, scientific inquiry was akey part of his life.
Another journey was silentlytaking place. His interest in academics started gradually fading (as he now remembers it). On 3rd of September 2023, Prashanth experienced a profound spiritual awakening. This event in his own words was like a calamity and the ultimate blow (a knockout at the hands of existence). This one event he calls it was theturning point of his life. This experiencedid something to him and shifted his attention from all external pursuit toworld of the Self.
He says that he was unable to return to his past life even with significant effort and feels as though his memories were wipedout. As he puts it in his own words, ‘he lost himself on that day’. He often uses the word ‘awakening’ to point to this event and avoids using words like enlightenment as they have beengreatly corruptin the spiritual circles. He also says that after this he developed adeep connection with animals and refers them as his true friends and companions.
Today, Prashanth shares his wisdom through satsangs, online meditation sessionsand personal interaction with interested seekers. He intends to keep it simply and does notpromote gurudom in any way as offered in traditional spirituality. He calls himself a true friend and an eternal companionfor the seeker of truth.
What began asoutwardexploration has ultimately culminated inthe realization of self.
Dedicated to sharing the ancient yogic path for inner peace and transformation.
